Custom Software Development Services

Custom platforms engineered for the load you will have in three years, not the demo you need next month.

What you get

  • Backend architecture & APIs
  • Modern frontend interfaces
  • System integration
  • Data engineering
Overview

Why teams bring us in

Off-the-shelf software stops fitting the moment your process becomes a competitive advantage. Exubers builds the systems that carry that advantage: scalable backend architecture, clean APIs and interfaces people actually want to use.

Our teams work across Java, Python, Node.js and Go on the server, and React, Angular and Vue on the front end, with the architecture decisions written down so the next engineer inherits reasoning rather than mystery.

Capabilities

Inside our Software Development

Every engagement is scoped from this set. We do not sell all of it to everyone — we sell the parts that move your constraint.

Backend architecture & APIs

Domain-driven service design, REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven integration with Kafka, and data models that survive schema change.

Modern frontend interfaces

React, Angular and Vue applications with design systems, accessibility built in and Core Web Vitals treated as a requirement.

System integration

Connecting ERPs, CRMs, payment providers and legacy systems without turning the estate into a web of point-to-point scripts.

Data engineering

Pipelines, warehousing and reporting layers so the business can answer questions without asking engineering first.

Security & compliance engineering

Authentication and authorisation design, audit logging, data residency and privacy controls appropriate to your regulator.

Legacy replatforming

Strangler-pattern migrations that retire monoliths incrementally while the business keeps running.

How we work

A delivery sequence you can plan around

01

Frame

Discovery workshops that convert business outcomes into a prioritised scope, a domain model and an honest risk list.

02

Architect

Service boundaries, data model, integration contracts and non-functional targets agreed before the first sprint.

03

Deliver

Two-week sprints with working software, automated tests and a deployable increment at the end of every one.

04

Sustain

Documentation, knowledge transfer and optional long-term support so the platform outlives the engagement.

FAQ

Software Development questions, answered

The questions procurement and engineering ask us most often before an engagement starts.

How do you price a custom software development project?

Discovery is fixed-price because the scope is known. Delivery is usually time and materials against a prioritised backlog, which is the honest model when requirements will change — and they always do. We can quote fixed-price for well-bounded phases once discovery has removed the unknowns.

Which technology stack will you use for our project?

The one that fits your team and your constraints. We work in Java, Python, Node.js and Go on the backend and React, Angular and Vue on the frontend. If your internal team maintains the system afterwards, their existing skills weigh heavily in that decision.

Do you take over existing codebases?

Yes. We start with a code and architecture audit that maps risk, test coverage and dependency health, then stabilise before adding features. Taking over a codebase without that audit is how teams inherit problems they did not price.

How do you handle intellectual property and source code ownership?

You own everything we write. Code lives in your repositories from day one, not ours.

Can you work alongside our in-house engineering team?

That is our most common model. We embed into your sprint cadence, your repositories and your review process rather than running a parallel project that has to be reintegrated later.
